What is rush like for those who are OOS and don't know anyone?

I rushed and barely knew anyone in any sororities. I thought having no “connections” would put me at a disadvantage but it really didn’t. I actually talked to a lot of other OOS girls during rush and it was a cool conversation topic :) Being OOS can make Rush feel more intimidating but it shouldn’t really make a difference.
