coaches?

I think some girls do get coaches. There was an article in the New York Times in 2012 titled "Pledge Prep, Prepping Students for Sorority Rush". UVA was highlighted. I think the girls who do have coaches don't talk ever about it. I hate to say it but your friends are also your competition. There are only so many spots in each sorority and everyone wants to get in a good one. It's a weird, stressful time. Not so much if you're content if you're above playing the status game. Good luck!

Sorry but if you need a coach you have a problem. If you can’t make good conversation on your own you have a problem. If you’re 18/19 you should be mature enough to navigate recruitment without paying someone to help you.

A good coach is between $2-3k but you get what you pay for. I know lots of girls at TriDelt and kappa who used coaches and it paid off for them.

If you don’t have your coach lined up by now DONT even bother rushing this year because you’re probably gonna end up in bottom tier.

You are probably too late to get a coach for spring recruitment because most of the good coaches already have full books.
