Disclaimer: this is just a general idea of how the sororities rank. Different people will definitely rank differently and PNMs should by no means only make their decisions based on rankings! Every sorority is awesome. Trust me, you’ll be sooo much happier if you go where you fit in rather than just picking the highest ranked sorority that picks you

You say it’s useful, but how is it useful, to ANY of the sororities? If you don’t like it, why did you post it? Labeling a sorority as “higher” then trying to add the sugar of but they are all awesome” is flat out insulting. The only purpose is to make each sorority feel better then the next, superior, and you know it. Your post hurts all Greek life and if you don’t think so you are just wrong. You bias pnms before they step foot in any house. SDT gone because of what was done in this website, how did that help Greek life? The simple answer is it doesn’t. It’s high school ish and the Greek community should be better than thiis.

What would you change? I would just move DG down but I suspect they’re that high because one of them wrote it

KD is so awesome, I love all the KD ladies I’ve met. They are considered part of a lower tier but don’t think that means they aren’t a great sorority. They’re just quirkier and less typical “sorority girl” than most of the other sororities, but that’s what makes them so great!

I have seen a lot that KD is "quirkier" I am not in greek life but was curious today and was checking around. Can someone explain what they mean by quirkier?

When people say KD is "quirky" they mean KDs aren't stereotypical sorority girls. Their personalities or more unique. Like many are very involved around Grounds, activists in causes they're passionate about, etc. To best explain, one of their typical questions during rush is, "If you were a pair of pants, who would you want to be wearing you?"

I totally agree that rankings are stupid and don’t help anyone, but I also agree with OP that they aren’t going to go away. This website is built upon them. I think the best thing we can do is keep posting positive things about all the sororities and never resort to insults. I’m guessing OP posted this in attempt to boost up her own sorority to help them during rush, a move many houses have pulled. I kinda doubt that many PNMs go on here anyway, my friends and I hadn’t even heard of greekrank by then. And I’m guessing anyone who is really offended by rankings wouldn’t go on the website that has rank in its name.
