I suspect most girls know when they are being dirty rushed. Did you go to high school or summer camp with a lot of sorority members? That is your first question. If so, you know if you're being dirty rushed. If not, you are probably not going to be. Go into recruitment with an open mind if you want to have a happy outcome. I wish I'd followed this advice rather than being hung up on some random status in the minds of co-eds from the 1980s. I honestly wish you the best.

Of course, I didn't mean the "knowing members" part was in itself dirty rushing. I meant that would be the condition under which one might be dirty rushed. If a girl is going to be dirty rushed then the sorority knows her to begin with. As I wrote, if you want to know whether you are in fact being rushed before recruitment, that is your first question. Obviously, if you don't know sisters in particular houses, then they won't reach out to you and break the no contact policy. No need to be so butt hurt. Not sure how what I wrote bothered you.

you can, obviously it’s a little more difficult. but if you’re going in with that attitude, people are gonna see right through it. there’s no difference between a “top” and “middle” sorority than people who haven’t moved past high school and truly think there is a social hierarchy

Since when is knowing people in sororities being dirty rushed? It's not. Dirty rushing is when sorority members break the no contact policy, bid promise, or hot box. Actives communicating and socializing with pnm's fall semester is not dirty rushing.
