rushing with older siblings

it would depend on how you use that connection. if your brother knows a lot of girls in a certain sorority and introduces you to them before rush and they like you, that could help you get into that particular sorority. but just name dropping him during rush probably won’t help because they know your brother, not you.

if your sibling is in a frat and you are rushing that frat you will probably be able to get pretty far in the process, but you still need to connect with the people in it and show you fit in. If your sibling knows people in sororities and you are rushing sororities, it will probably allow you to dirty rush a little and get past the first round, but, once again, you will still have to fit in and vibe with the people in that sorority.
