Blame the UVA administration for this, not the fraternities. Back when UVA was the #1 party school in the nation, all fraternities used to have their doors open every night. Some would have DJs, others would have drinks, and you could just walk between them all and sorta hang out in the street.

Whenever you hear about someone’s drink getting spiked or a girl getting attacked at a frat party almost every time it’s caused by a guy not even in the frat who had no business being there in the first place. As a girl I can’t say I blame the frats for wanting to keep weirdos out. Just saying
