rushing as 2nd year
by: Uva fratWhat’s it like rushing as a 2nd year, Is it much harder to get a bid? Will top houses ever give a bid to a second year? Do second years mainly hang out with their PC or guys their age?

2nd year is a lot better you're more mature, you understand that if you don't end up joining your life won't be over, you already know guys in different fraternities to make things a little easier. I rushed my 2nd year and ended up getting a bid to a "top" house. All about how you can hold a conversation your year doesn't really matter.

I think because there are so many more options for guys and frats can make their pledge classes as big/small as they want. Sorority rush is strictly a numbers game and a lot of girls get screwed over and fall through the cracks because of that.
