did you suicide bid? i did!

by: Wahoo

I simply couldn't stomach the thought of opening my bid card and seeing the name of my second choice. I decided I would rather not get a bid. If I get a bid I know who it is, if I don't, that's fine.

Good luck everyone!

I mean this with the best of intentions, but I think we set ourselves up for a difficult and unhappy rush and result if we view recruitment as a competition. I know it can feel like that, but it might help to try to focus on finding a place where you feel most at home and most welcome. The goal should be to find a sorority with likeminded or uplifting members.

I think that’s everyone’s goal. Is it wrong if girls feel more at home at top tier houses? We are UVA students, we’re used to being at the top.
