in-house recs???

I am participating in ISC recruitment in Jan. I'm not a first year and have friends in most in the sororities. A lot of them have written in-house recs for me. I was just wondering how much those will actually help me? Do they carry any weight or does it depend on the chapter? Thanks!

If we don’t have in hous Recs and are a 2nd year will it lessen our chances ??
