want to rush and join fraternity but worried about $$

I want to rush and pledge this spring, but worried about the cost for dues. In all honesty, I have enough $$ to make it by, but not sure if it is worth to give up so much to join plus other costs associated with a fraternity. Any alternatives or screwed? Thnx

The Hall has a scholarship fund like AccessUVa so that they can welcome people of all socio-economic backgrounds.
