isc rush as a 3rd year
by: 2019I am considering participating in recruitment in January as a 3rd year. The ISC just extended its deadline to register so I have a little bit of time to decide. How difficult is it to join a chapter as a 3rd year? Does anyone have any tips? I didn't rush 1st or 2nd year and I think it's something I really want to try.

it honestly really depends. Do you know a lot of people in sororities, are they close friends, are you in good standings with all of them, etc? I only have ever heard of one third year rushing and getting into a sorority (last year) ... but she was dirty rushed hard and pretty much guaranteed a bid

Only the top/maybe top of the middle really dirty rush... Others will do rush dates and maybe a little dirty rushing, but impressions during actual rush are what really matters for most houses
