how costly are dues and other expenses for guys

About how much are dues at various houses? For someone who really wants to join greek life, but is worried about the cost of dues and other expenses like outfits, shirts, etc. what would you say?

Dues can range from like 600-1400 give or take. Changes per year. You don't need to buy anything else like shirts or stuff its optional.

Top tiers are above 2k, the rest are within the range the person above me has stated.

Dues can get as low as the $500s, but your first semester, you'll pay fees to the fraternity association, so it'll be about $400 more than typical dues

i would say expect them to be around 1k, some will be under some over
