do most guys end up getting a bid from somewhere

Like do guys who rush to just join any frat (regardless of tiers) end up usually getting a bid as long as they don't rush just one or two houses.

Also if someone could tell me how big of a time commitment pledging usually is that would be cool. Like do grades normally slip for ppl during pledging?

If you rush the right places then you should have little to no problem getting a bid. In terms of a time commitment that really depends on the frat. Its likely that wherever you go your grades are going to slip, and in some houses they could slip a lot.
