If I drop out of my fraternity during pledging and rush again during the fall will that be held against me?

yes unless someone during voting is able to explain the reason why you did (only answers people will probably accept are like family issues or something like that)

SAE initiates after 96 hours, so you're too late. You're already a brother and no other frat will take you -- except maybe Kappa Sig, but if that had been an option in the first place you would have taken that bid over SAE.

No. Chapters need to initiate new members within 96 hours of bid
acceptance.

Upon bid acceptance, a man is initiated into a chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, gaining all rights associated with becoming a brother of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

All members are expected to fulfill the seven requirements of membership annually. In addition, all brothers will complete the Experience Progress Report (EPR) annually in order to ensure that a
sense of accountability for all members is fostered within the chapter.
