please help!

I am very worried, its day one and my friends won't stop talking about their sororities. Is it always like this? I'm not sure what to do this weekend because it seems like everyone is just doing stuff with their pledge class now. Also my friends have become catty it seems like they suddenly think they're better than everyone because they're in a sorority. Is anyone doing COBs? I feel very left out
