which sororitys do you need recs for?

The site says "Every chapter takes recommendations into consideration differently (for some it matters, for others it won’t matter at all)." Which sororitys actually care about recs?? I was talking to girls from A Phi and DDD, and they said they didn't have any and they were fine, but Pi Phi seem to actually take recs into consideration. What about DG/Theta/Kappa?
