recruitment by area

I'm an incoming first year and was wondering if certain sororities tended to recruit girls from certain areas more than others. I know sororities at other schools around the country sometimes do (and top tier will usually pick from rich private schools), so is there any correlation between Virginia regions/cities/etc and specific houses or is it typically scattered (I figured most likely scattered but I was curious)?

The top tier sororities want girls who have money (especially theta) and often families with money send their kids to private schools. idk about regions, but there's definitely a correlation between top tier and private high schools in Virginia

It's a Virginia school. It stands to reason that there will be quite a few students from the top Virginia high schools in every class. These people will know people who are already in sororities and fraternities. Friends tend to recruit friends.
