They are not new. Kicked out their members then claimed they were new.

Girl chill, the srat left and is now back. I get that. I still consider that new because none of the girls thatre in it now were in it before

They kicked them out. Said they were new so they could recruit outside of formal recruitment. THEN they invited the girls they kicked out back into the chapter. It's all too weird.

Invited girls back? Were there even any left at UVA? The sorority has been gone for a couple years and they weren't getting many girls during rush in the couple years before......Seems like you're getting false info

Yes they did give the 4th years who were apart of the original Tri Sigma the option of rejoining. It's not weird, it's an attempt to be inclusive and not have any bad blood on grounds. I mean how would you feel if your sorority was shut down then restarted in your old house and banned you? It's common courtesy guys.

Sigma Sigma Sigma - ΣΣΣ Sorority at University of Virginia - UVA 4.4 I hadn't heard much about them until Derby Days, very impressed by how well they did! I think they got second or third (?) Of course Derby Days doesn't determine the quality of your sorority, but it was nice to see the Tri Sigs getting involved right away. Keep making a name for yourselves and I'm sure we'll see great things from y'all!

Sigma Sigma Sigma - ΣΣΣ Sorority at University of Virginia - UVA 5.0 Their house is gorgeous. I went through formal rush this year and took the tour of the tri sig house - amazing. Not that the quality of your house determines everything, but it'll definitely help put them on the map during rush. I ended up taking the bid from another sorority (the one my mom was in), but I seriously considered tri sig. Good luck ladies!

Sigma Sigma Sigma - ΣΣΣ Sorority at University of Virginia - UVA 1.0 Sweet girls but it takes a lot of work to run a great sorority. It will take a few years until we see how this rebirth pans out. Formal recruitment will be the big test. We'll see how it goes!

I'll be the first to admit that the old tri sig lived up to a lot of the horrid reviews, but i'm so impressed with tri sig 2.0! Ignore the haters who feel threatened by your fresh start and lack of a reputation and good luck with formal recruitment!!
