Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at University of Virginia - UVA 1.0 When I went trough rush this past year, Theta was the one house that was genuinely rude to many of the rushees (I've heard awful stories). I get that you only give bids to pretty, rich, white girls through dirty rush but don't you at least want to be civil towards the rest of the girls in rush? I mean this is their first real impression of Theta that they'll keep with them for four years...No wonder y'all have such a bad rep

I'm not the OP, but in response to "How," the girl who was rushing me there during round robbins just straight up didn't talk the me. She didn't ask me any questions and answered my questions with one word answers. She just sort of stood in front of me and avoided looking at me. I'm an out of stater who hadn't ever interacted with a UVA Theta in my life so it wasn't like there was beef or anything. I know sisters can get really tired during rush, but rushees are the ones who have to walk 7 or 8 miles a day in the snow and then try to impress them. It was just unnecessarily rude, I ranked them last.

Im not the OP either but I thought I'd share my story. When I came to the Theta house during rush, the first girl I spoke to took one look at me and I could tell she had lost all interest. When she asked me what high school I went to, she audibly scoffed at my answer (a public school in NOVA). When the second girl came up to take over the convo with me, I saw the first girl look at the next girl and just shake her head. Safe to say that I also ranked Theta last.

Kappa Alpha Theta - ΚΑΘ Sorority at University of Virginia - UVA 1.4 used to be top tier, but thankfully they've been brought down. it's hard to continue to be top tier when you rush solely based on money and connections... you're not gonna end up with very good looking, sociable, or amiable PC's if you only care how much money daddy has or which VA private school the rushees went to
