UVA's latest Rhodes Scholar and the current single most outstanding Pi Phi in the US & Canada (for scholarship, leadership, & campus involvement) come from THIS Pi Phi Chapter. This chapter was the 1st women's fraternity to colonize on Grounds after admission of women in 1970 (KD & XO had relinquished charters years earlier). This Pi Phi chapter has lead the ISC in encouraging chapter diversity since 1979. These are FACTS, not opinions. A strong Greek system benefits the entire academical village & Pi Phi encourages that, not "competition" with other greek organizations. There is no reason why each chapter at UVA couldn't be the most outstanding chapter of their own organization...UVA Greek women ALL have the potential to make their world a little better than they found it & should build each other up, not tear them down.
