1. What to wear:
House tours: you will all be wearing the same tshirt, dress it up according to your personal style.
Philanthropy round: snappy casual. Look cute and put together but no need to break out the heels or dresses, whatever you would wear to a casual lunch date.
Pref-night: sundress

(Whatever your style is stay true to that just make sure you look polished and well groomed)

2. Knowing someone in the house may be helpful if you're dead set on being in a particular house, but it's by no means necessary so don't worry too much about that.

3. What they are looking for depends on the house, they all have different personalities and look for people who sync well with their specific group dynamic. In general though everyone wants someone who demonstrates a desire to get involved/ be a leader, makes good grades, and cares about making the effort to look presentable.

4. Don't be nervous, trust in the system that you will end up right where you need to be if you remain true to yourself. Don't make the mistake of choosing a house you feel uncomfortable in simply because a lot of the other girls in your group liked it or discounting a house because they didn't. You will waste your time and the houses time if you let outside factors sway your decision.

You'll get a booklet before recruitment that tells you what to wear and expect too!

Check out the Unh panhel tumblr, they post examples of outfits for each day, pictures included. Hope this helps!
