rushing

I may be transferring to unh from a sec school and i was wondering how rush worked and if it even would be worth rushing because I'm a sophomore now

definitely worth rushing, its not the same set up as the south for rush.

Very different from SEC schools. Some houses hold rush in the spring some do not.

Only houses that can't meet their quota for girls rush in the spring to get more girls, not all houses do just a couple and very selective in the spring

Coming from someone in greek life @ unh, things to know about rush here:
Rush is not nearly as formal as SEC schools, less sororities, and greek life doesnt really run the campus/social life the way you might think. Also less traditional greek life than you might have at a SEC school. There are 5 sororities here, they're all great in different ways. Still reccommend rushing but dont expect it to be as intense or high maintenance as a SEC school
