snap bids/ spring recruitment help
by: hiiWhich sororities do snap bids or spring recruitment? I really want to join a sorority this semester. also how would you get one of these bids/ how does it work.

Check their social media accounts- if a sorority is doing spring recruitment they will definitely post about it and explain how the process works for their chapter- as of right now I am only aware of KD doing a formal spring recruitment. Some chapters might use “COB” which stands for continuous open bidding, but that means there are very limited spaces and the chapter will probably reach out to specific people. If you want to find out if a specific sorority is doing COB you should find the chapter’s email/ contact info and inquire about it so they know you are interested.

^ to your question about contacting them. just simply reach out to the chapter! if it is a chapter that has been promoting spring recruitment, you should contact them how they tell you. if they haven’t been promoting spring recruitment or cobing yet, you can either wait or dm their instagram page asking if they do spring recruitment/cob

what would you suggest i would say to this sorority? i have friends in it and i attended the first two days of recruitment at their house and fell in love with their sisterhood and have not been able to get them out of my head. i dont want them to be offended if i ask about COB, but definitely want them to know that i am interested.
