weird alpha phi observation

has anyone noticed that most girls in aphi don't wear backpacks? all the aphi's in my classes brings a pocketbook. I do not think I have seen an aphi wear a backpack before. are you guys too cool to wear a backpack? just a weird observation. wondering if anyone else has noticed it too?
