Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of Nevada, Reno - UNR 5.0 A lot of these rankings on all of the sororities are very negative and obviously are posted by some Panhellenic women who are upset their sororities aren’t getting ranked well. Therefore, I’m just going through and ranking all sororities 5.0 because all of them are amazing and hold different personalities that you will find your home at. No sorority is mean or bad and if people feel the need to comment that on other people’s organizations, than they are insecure in themselves and their sororities.

Sigma Kappa - ΣΚ Sorority at University of Nevada, Reno - UNR 3.4 I’m going to be completely honest and what I’m going to say goes for all of greek life and not just this sorority. I would strongly warn against joining a greek organization for the following reasons. First, it is very similar to cults. They have there own rituals and rules. They will treat you like trash if you try and leave. Second, they will try and control your life. There are so many mandatory events and meetings. If you aren’t able to go or simply don’t want to you have to have a valid excuse (work doesn’t count). If you don’t end up going then you will be fined. The third is you will end up paying this organization thousands of dollars to tell you what to do and how to live your life. There’s no doubt that some people have fun and form a lot of good connections, but it comes with a price. Just be very cautious if you are considering greek life and know that you are joining a cult of “sisters” who will you only treat you right if you live by there rules. If you love being brainwashed and having people tell you what to do, then greek life is perfect for you.
