This sorority is so genuine and even though they’ve been hacking issues the last few semesters they still kill it with staying active in the community. These girls are so sweet and are top tier.

It’s sad how much these girls have gone downhill. If you want to have all that high school drama, this is the place for it.

I went out of state for school and am a member of a different sorority not on UNLV's campus but lots of my high school friends went AGD and i love their sisterhood. If i went to UNLV i would definitely want to be AGD

Would recommend anyone considering rushing this sorority to not do so. I couldn't wait to be out of this chapter fast enough. The "sisterhood" is so fake and cliquey it's like being in high school all over again. Unless you're in the top select 20 few people, the chapter doesn't care about you. I can't say that I walked out with one good friend at the end. They care more about frat boys than they do their own sisters. Stay away.

Yes! They are still cliquey. These girls will talk behind your back even if you are a sister. I went into the chapter with the mentality that they were very diverse and driven women. This was not the case. Being in it for as long as I was I can't grasp the idea of how dumb I was to still put up with this chapter both finically and emotionally. However, some great things did come from the chapter I found a few decent people that I don't know what I do without with in my life. And I do love the values the founding sisters built this chapter upon. Its sad that the chapter doesn't live up to what they really can/should be.

I was an Alpha Gamma Delta from another school and when I tried to join the UNLV chapter I was so disappointed. I met with the president at the time and all they talked about was partying, clubbing, fraternities and that's not what I was looking for. I decided not to join the chapter because they are not a good example of what an Alpha Gamma Delta should be. When I didn't join they all gave me dirty looks when I would wear shirts. Seeing that this was your experience doesn't surprise me.

More often than not, when I interact with an AGD sister on campus she is friendly and warm. The other night I was hanging with some guy friends & found myself to be the only girl in the room along with one I didn’t know— she invited me over to sit with her, started chatting with me, made me feel way less awkward in the room of dudes & sure enough she was an AGD. They’ve had some trouble the past few semesters but they care about their sisterhood & organization; Unlv is lucky to have them on campus.
