spring rush big/littles?
by: pnmHey! I'm considering rushing a sorority this semester and I was wondering if girls who pledge in the spring still get bigs. If anyone has any info on how that works, or any other differences between the pledging process in the fall and in the spring, I'd be so grateful if you'd explain! I'm sure it's different for each sorority but I'm pretty much clueless so anything helps! Tysm :-)

I would recommend going through in the fall. This is because there will be 8 chapters to choose from (Tri Sigma is being added), and that way you will have a better chance of finding a chapter you fit best in. The whole recruitment process sucks but it is worth it in the end when you find your chapter. Best of luck!!

Like everyone said, sorority rush is in the fall. However, this still works. I'm in a fraternity but the same system for bigs/littles applies. Literally any sister in the house can be a big. For us at least, we fill out a list of brothers we most want to be our big, and brothers fill out a list of who they most want to be their little. If any two match up, they become big/little and it is unveiled at big little night. If there are say 80 girls in the sorority and 30 in a pledge class, there will be more than enough girls to give every little a bid. Sometimes, a big can have two littles, either from another year or within your own pledge class. This other girl is called your "twin".
