how do you ask how much sorority dues are? I don't want to seem like I'm prying... I really want to join, but I have to pay for it myself.

Anywhere to $250(IGU)-$1000(Kappa) a semester, I believe average is around $600-700

None of the sorority dues are $1000, they are nowhere near that. You're an idiot.

some also let you set up payment plans so you don't have to pay it all up front!
