sophomore rushing?

by: Current Freshman

I didn't rush a sorority this past fall semester because I was just too stressed out at the time and I had joined too many other clubs with I subsequently dropped because it was too much, and now I am regretting not rushing. I think I'm most interested in Chi Omega based on the research I've done. Do the sororities have spring recruitment at Umass or not? And if not, is it hard to get into the sorority you want as a sophomore? I really want to give it a shot but I don't really feel like getting completely rejected after going through the process if they really only take freshmen. Any advice would be great!

Only a few sororities do spring rush so I would wait until next fall that way you have more options to choose from. Being a sophomore will definitely not hurt your chances! My pledge class is split 50/50 between freshmen and sophomores :)
