Drinking when pledging
by: NoI heard some sororities don’t let you drink before you get initiated and you’re not allowed to go to frats while pledging. Is this a thing at all the sororities? Is it all of pledging or just certain weeks?

99% of rumors about sororities are false, so probably not just see for yourself

All mixers suck hence why people stop going after their first semester in the chapter

All these replies are useless. Yes most of the sororities have a dry period and you’re not allowed to party but if you really want to be in a sorority I guess it’s worth it. Geek life is steadily going downhill pretty quick so if you want to go out wherever and whenever you want just be a GDI

It’s not true in the sense that more chapters than stated above have a dry period. Most all of them do and u conveniently missed 3 other chapters that have pretty intense ones .. lol

Here's what I know for a fact. I have friends in all these sororities:
-sdt and aephi have dry rush and you can't go to frats or have to leave if you see sisters at a party
-axo and xo don't have a dry rush and you can go to mixers right away
-igu doesn't have dry rush but don't think pledges can go to mixers
-sk forces pledges to go to mixers but they have to leave by 11:30, they also have really strict fines to force you to attend things
-idk anyone in kappa and tri sig is irrelevant
