Well, obviously Alpha Sig is the top sorority.

After that, Kappa and SK.

Kappa, SDT, SK THATS it

kappa- they are the top sorority on campus and they def give off that vibe. they are known to be in love with their sorority. they come off as cool and trendy. ppl hate on them for caring about looks but I think most sororities do at least a little

sk- they are seen as being right under kappa in the sorority rankings and they have a similar cool/trendy vibe like kappa. some ppl say they aren’t as close w/each other as other sororities are but idk they seem close

aephi- tied with sdt at third in the rankings. they are known as being rlly close and being die-hard for their sorority. they give off a fun/party vibe and a trendy vibe. no lettered house but they love their satellite houses

sdt- tied with aephi for third in the rankings. has a party-vibe like aephi and also comes off as rlly chill. a little more diverse than the other mid-high ranked sororities. had a few girls drop out right after bid day last yr so they had to give out more bids after bid day

chio- these girls give off nice vibes. known for being smart but also being cool/fun. close in rankings to aephi and sdt if not maybe tied with them. their house is kinda far from campus but the UMass bus comes to the house so it’s not so bad

axo- ranked after chio putting axo at the top of the bottom tier sororities. these girls are nice and fun and known for being very into their philanthropy. they are also known to be smart. their house was taken away by the school a while ago bc they broke rules

igu- they are ranked under axo. igu gives off tomboy vibes and are the type of girls that are seen as bros. known to party hard and be fun and can drink in their sorority house. their vibe is not for everyone but girls in igu seem to love it

trisig- gives off sweet, girly vibes and comes off as very nice. they have a reputation of not being very selective during recruitment and taking more girls than the other sororities. they are also often considered the “bottom house” on campus but they are also the newest

there is not point in comparing apples to oranges they are all great. the point is to find where you feel comfortable, rankings are dumb

Top tier sororities:

SK - A little less cookie cutter and more academically inclined than Kappa. These girls are fun, beautiful, and involved in the community. Definitely give off that “girl nextdoor” vibe.

KKG - Formerly known as visa visa MasterCard but haters will hate. Very involved and passionate about their sorority and overall attractive and fun group of girls.

SDT - Fun group of girls. Social. Like to party. #3 below SK and KKG

Everyone else...fun to party with?!

All of them are great but IGU is the only local sorority so they make their own rules and can throw parties and have boys in their house. No nationals to dictate what they do. Definitely your laid back chill party girls. Kinda weird, not the best looking and not your typically sorority girl but are still cool people.

which ones usually take sophomores?
