Phi Sig: Phi Sig is often times regarded as Theta's little brother due to being next to them, and this does sort of hurt them. They have a variety of guys, but none of them really stand out that much in the grand picture. They party a lot and their parties feel more like a club than a frat party. They also have parties at their house with C and B-list musicians about once a semester. That being said, their parties are a massive freshman/GDI scene, and that's basically what Phi Sig is known for. They are not actually big within the Greek scene; their house basically gets them anywhere. They have good relations with SDT, but that's about it for sororities.

Outside of parties, their brothers are infamous for mostly being dull. On the topic of brotherhood, their brotherhood seems to be pretty weak as well. For a frat that's known to be top 3 at the school, they're uninvolved and are rare to be seen. They have one large charity with Aephi every year, Phi Hoops, but that's about all they do.

One thing that's said about Phi Sig a lot is that they're more of Club Phi Sig than they are the fraternity Phi Sig. That being said, they are Alpha chapter of Phi Sig (Phi Sig was founded at UMass), so they are kind of their nationals baby and as a result, go way back and have an established alumni network. But the Club Phi Sig does ring true. People join Phi Sig to party more than anything else. As a result, they don't actually have that close a chapter, and once you're a Junior, you basically stop being a Phi Sig as you go to the bars rather than go to their freshman parties. That being said, if you're a girl and are decently attractive, chances are you go to Phi Sig a good amount of the time. They have a good house and possibly the best space for partying among the frat houses.

TL;DR: Not very close. Brothers mainly join for partying and go inactive by Junior year.
