Iota Gamma Upsilon - ΙΓΥ Sorority at University of Massachusetts Amherst - UMA 4.2 These girls are awesome. They have such a diverse group or girls which is a really nice change of pace from the usual sorority monotony. Some are smart, some are wild, some are pretty in a basic way while others beat to their own drum. This place is great I feel super welcome here whenever I swing by. Don't chill on their lawn without permission though or you'll definitely get an ear full... Overall 8.5/10 in my book

Iota Gamma Upsilon - ΙΓΥ Sorority at University of Massachusetts Amherst - UMA 4.4 I live nearby their house and I think the girls at this sorority are really nice. I've made friends with a few sisters this past semester and they are super welcoming. I went to a date party and it was laid back but fun, these girls know how to party. I just wish they hosted more parties.

I've met so many of the sisters from IGU through classes and work events and they have been some of the most caring and thoughtful people I've ever met! They always go out of their way to look after eachother and their friends. You can't go wrong with having ladies like that in your life.

No matter who you are or where you come from you'll totally find your people. Local means less rules, you don't have to live in house, dues are less, and they can party! Their chapter has been around longer than most on campus and they have some pretty cool history. If you're looking for a laid back group of girls to hang with while still being a part of Greek life then it's definitely the chapter for you.
