Phi Sigma Sigma - ΦΣΣ Sorority at University of Maryland, Baltimore County - UMBC 2.0 They are super nice to you while you’re rushing because they want to sell themselves to you as what they aren’t but once you don’t join they give you dirty glares and act like they’ve never met you. Heard about sisters hooking up with other sisters bfs and backstabbing each other. Very cliquey and it’s obvious. Their philanthropy isn’t prevalent and they don’t come out and support any other sororities. Also obvious they rank other sororities badly on here to make themselves look better lol. Clearly they only care about being the “top” sorority with the prettiest girls.

Phi Sigma Sigma - ΦΣΣ Sorority at University of Maryland, Baltimore County - UMBC 2.5 One of their sisters told me they assign bigs and littles based on looking, not personality and similar interests. I know this isn’t always what happens and they do take the littles request into consideration, but the fact that it happens at all is pretty weird. They’re either the best person you’ve ever met or the worst, there’s no in between with Phi Sig and half of them are so fake that you’ll never be able to tell who’s your friend and who isn’t.

Phi Sigma Sigma - ΦΣΣ Sorority at University of Maryland, Baltimore County - UMBC 3.5 About half of them, maybe slightly less, live up to the stereotype (catty and pretty) but the other half are really genuine and sweet girls (...and also pretty.) If you make the right friends, they’re golden, but if you connect more with the girls who love to backstab, good luck. I feel like they’re more involved on campus than they seem, but they don’t talk much about what else they do which is a shame. Definitely a studious bunch but throw down sometimes (hello lambda)

They have great relationships with all of the frats, they are social on campus and they have some of the best sisterhood. You can always find them in big study groups in the Library and they have some of the highest GPAs in PHA.
