by: lala sororityWhat does everyone think of Delta Phi Epsilon? ( the newest addition to the university of maine!)

Of course they took what they could get, they are new! Maybe over time
they will grow into having a cookie cutter girl but right now they are taking
who they can get. They look like DZ use to. Now DZ thinks they're
1995 Chi O's. Girls, understand what you and what you are not.

these girls are really trying to build a thriving sisterhood. give them some credit. they are diverse but that doesn't make them a bunch of freaks. give them a chance. once they get a new president who care more about building their chapter instead of her resume they will do great things. excited to see how they do during formal recruitment in the fall! good luck ladies!

I love this sorority's unique spirit, it's a shame they have to let one person bring down their reputation this early on. One girl in this sorority will literally do anything with a pulse, and you can always spot her at a frat as the girl who will literally hold her leg over her head for five minutes displaying her ladyhood to anyone who wants it. Not only shows this questionable conduct at fraternities, but is openly backstabbing to other sorority girls and malicious in nature. Like I said, love their quirky spirit, hate her. She should have never gone greek, especially into one of the most friendly and interesting sororities on campus.

^ YES! Esse Quam Videri = to be rather than to seem to be. We pride ourselves on encouraging our sisters to be themselves and embrace their inner beauty, even if they decide that they don't want to wear ten pounds of makeup. We have girls that dress head to toe in designer clothing and others who frequent Goodwill. We have sisters who go tanning every week and others that prefer their natural skin tone. And we LOVE IT. Frankly, we look for people who share our values and like one of my sisters said, don't give a damn about their jean size. :)
To the Greek women of UMaine, thank you for being so supportive and welcoming during our first year of founding. We look forward to many more years of Panhellenic sisterhood. :) To the haters out there who are saying hurtful things about ANY of the wonderful sororities on campus, please think about your actions and remember that there are much more mature and affective ways of handling problems than resorting to cyber bullying and posting anonymously and maliciously on the Internet.
I am sad that there is such bad blood between you, and truly hope you can work it out. Your actions make me sincerely hope that Delta Phi Epsilon never form a rivalry with another sorority, as I can see just how hurtful such relationships can be.
To any potential new members out there considering going through formal recruitment, please click 'x' immediately and make your own judgments for yourself. Go Greek! It was the best decision I ever made. :) <3
