spring informal rush?

Hi, I am a potential transfer student and I was wondering what the spring informal rush is like? I've heard that Kansas has pretty big Greek life and that its pretty chill, especially compared to Southern schools. So basically my question is who participates in spring informal rush? Is it worth it? Any other information is greatly appreciated!
