rush

im about to go through rush and I know there are girls in certain houses that have grudges against me from HS, is that going to ruin my chances of getting into a sorority I want?

Seems like old beefs die hard. It's one of the few benefits of coming in from out of state to rush at KU. In a lot of the chapters, there are def cliques from certain schools. Maybe just focus on the chapters where you don't have any bad blood, or, chapters where the people who don't like you aren't in positions of power--rush chair, President etc. Don't know how all chapters work, but at some not every chapter member gets the power to black ball. And at others, they may have black ball power, but it may carry little or no weight.
