sororities

Hi! I am from the south where pledging a sorority is a very big deal! Basically everyone does it and it's a huge part of campus lifestyle. You can still have a great college experience if you don't, but basically everyone wants to be greek. However, I heard it's different for schools not in the south? Is it still a big deal at KU? What is sorority life like? Thank you!
