more honest rankings fall 2014

Really? If you're in a house you are supposed to live by the panhellenic creed. One of the tenets is promote all greek life. You can't just rank houses then run down all the houses in one category. Besides being unbelievable it's also unpanhellenic.

Really? Tell that to the person who started this post, cause it looks like she did a great job of ranking and running down girls. As long as there are imaginary tiers there will be competition and b.itchiness among every house. Too many girls like to shove their "rank" in your face and stick their noses in the air so don't come here and complain because someone said your house has conceited snobs, which all the houses you like to call top houses do.

@2 says that lower houses are ore friendly and solid and that top houses are all stuck up conceited snobs. I think there is a mix of girls in every house and that someone is trying to influence PNMs choices during recruitment by posting inflammatory comments like this. That's not panhellenic.

The saddest thing every year is dealing with the amazing heart broken girls that are not selected to a house. For nearly all of them, there is absolutely no reason they were not selected. "Get Real" is right, there are many high quality girls rushing for the available slots.

Conclusion Girls - Take what you can get and be happy/grateful for it. Greek like, in any of the houses, is an amazing college adventure.

There are some on this site saying that every girl gets a house who maximizes their options. So, why would a heartbroken girl not get any house? Did she not maximize?

Some girls drop out because they get dropped from the few houses that they have their hearts set on. It's too bad that they can't figure out that all the houses are good and being in a house is way more fun than not.....

Exactly, and this is sad but everyone knows they do it. Might be even more important for a girl to know a guy in a popular frat than friends in the house. I.E. if you want GPhi and you have a good friend/boyfriend in SigEp you're in.

Sad is an unhappy girl with no friends in houses and no friends in fraternities. Poor thing. At least she has the internet and continue her blog on here everyday. #tiredofhearingyoucomplain

Going through rush this week and can say the week has been an incredible experience, everywhere. So many comments were made about money on this site, it freaked me out. I come from a happy middle class family with both parents working. I expected to be shunned by the likes of ChiO, GPhi, PiPhi, KD, PiPhi, etc.

I have never commented on here but want to post some thoughts before tomorrow or Friday, when my thoughts could be biased.

PiPhi: Of all the houses reported to be so much about money and what your parents do, the only one that asked me about that was PiPhi. They seemed sweet so I tired to be polite but the persistence began to bother me.

ChiO: I was super impressed with ChiO. They never asked anything where I lived or parents occupation. I volunteer information near the end because I was concerned about possibly getting into something over my head financially. I'm not going to be able to buy a new dress for every occasion or take trips. to exotic resorts or vacation in Europe every break. ChiO did ask several questions about my grades and AP classes. What is your intended major?). They could not be more clear that top grades were expected. All that was said about social life is - "We do all the social activities you would expect from a college sorority." I didn't ask any questions and nothing more was said.

Chi O did not snap bid. Kappa is the only one I know that did. Other houses' names keep getting bandied around on here, but it's all false.

One girls opinion only. You would find 12 different rankings depending on who you ask so stop no one cares.

I agree that these are the rankings that most people would agree with and it was certainly the ranking that the pnms gave by returning to houses.

I agree that there's too much hatred on this site. Look at the comment by "omg" above. She has to be hateful and say "stop no one cares," instead of just agreeing not to be hateful.
