Really impressive that some of the most social houses also have some of the highest GPAs. Keep it up!

OMG this is pathetic stop fishing for compliments and trying to make your houses seem so much better than the others.
KKG had a higher gpa than pi phi and KD had a 3.26 and adpi had a 3.24. You are not "stellar" because you had a slightly higher by one tenth of a point than some other house.
What was your point here? To try and make a house feel bad because one girl maybe in the whole house had an A minus in a class that brought the entire houses GPA down to less than stellar?
OK everyone sees right through this disgusting self-accolade that these houses are so much better when they aren't.
"Some of the most social houses" HAHAHA you have to be joking.
Chio does nothing except hang out with SNU
Theta's are some of the weirdest non-social girls at KU
GPhi only hangs out with sigep
PiPhi's rarely go out.
The only "social" house among this group is Achio.

And then your fake replies? Patting yourselves on the back?

Everyone sees through this crap you aren't fooling anyone in fact you just made yourselves look like the stuck up conceited snobs you really are. Try again because this is PATHETIC.

Good God I have never seen anything so disgusting.

Ya exactly. Who decides a gpa is stellar at 3.28 but a 3.27 is not?? If you're going to make such a ridiculous post put all the houses GPA's and let everyone decide what is stellar and what isn't. This post is so immature

I think it's ridiculous that someone thinks that one girl's A- brings a whole house down. By the way, do they even give A-s?

Yes actually they do. And the point being a 3.6 vs a 3.7 can be as minor as a + or -. The difference in these GPA's is insignificant.

Surely this isn't the first time you've found yourselves ranked by gradepoint average. What did your high school do? Of course, rank you by grades. Everyone here knows their rank in their high school class. Did you go home crying to momma that someone with a hundredth or thousandth of a point was above you?

And yet now you're in college and you say a tenth of a point isn't something to celebrate. I think you're from a lower ranked house (by grade point average) and you're afraid it's going to hurt your recruitment.

Put on your big girl panties and study harder. This is a competition that ANY HOUSE has a chance to win. All it takes is determination and hard work.

NOT AT ALL. The point is some super insecure girls get on here and say only certain houses have stellar GPAs but use some imaginary cutoff point they made up to decide who makes their cut. Your post is ridiculous because it implies everyone else who didn't make your list has a crappy GPA. Congratulate all houses on high gpa not just your favorites. This list isn't even accurate stop trying to pad the houses reputations. And that's right, go to panhellenic website and get the actual GPAs.
No one is a "winner". You just put a list of a group of houses. You did not post the highest GPA house, you posted a list of ones you wanted. All houses work hard and kappa has a higher gpa than pi phi and you didn't even list them.
This has nothing to do with hard work or a competition. This was a disgusting attempt to make every house not your favorite look bad.

Why doesn't the person who made this post put an actual link to where she found these supposed gpas? Either that, or grow the hell up and stop falsly self-glorifying your favorite houses. Panhellenic has the GPAs on their guidebook and this list isn't even accurate.

GPAs were released to us last week. The GPAs in the guidebook were from last semester... The books had to go out to press before grades were released so PHA used last semester's. The listed GPAs here are correct for Spring 14.

1. KKG (3.3) was not higher than PBP (3.35).
2. KD had a 3.27 and ADP had a 3.31. Where did she get her numbers?
3. @yup -- Stellar is above the all sorority average -- above 3.2
(XO, KAT, GPB, PBP, and AXO) 3.27 and 3.28 are not stellar.
4. @no -- I think XO's 3.54 is way better than AGD's 3.18. Wayyyy better.
5. @what -- The "all sorority average" is not an imaginary cutoff. It's a real number (3.32). The houses posted were above that average. The ones not posted were below.
6. @the truth -- You're not telling the truth. Professional schools, internships, and employers that come for hiring fairs all want transcripts. Everyone looks at grades as an indication of hard work.
7. @everyone -- Why are you so disrespectful? I agree with #8, congratulate people who do better than you do.

She took the gpas from the sorority guidebook which is posted on the panhellenic website. Things change slightly from semester to semester. BUT, EVERY house is above the all greek average so lets pat them all on the back.
Also, when did you write the definition of stellar? and where did you come up with that imaginary number? I think stellar should be anything above the all greek average.
Of course they want transcripts, but if you're above a 3.0 and you're involved in many other extra curricular activities you are a lot more valuable than a one dimensional person. Wait until you get in the real world and your GPA doesn't mean much.

The gpas are from the Spring, 2014 University of Kansas site.

www.silc.ku.edu/sites/silc.ku.edu/files/docs/Greek%20Life /reports/SP%2014.pdf

This is a statement of the actual grades for every house. They may change from semester to semester, but these are the current ones.

I'd call stellar grades as grades above the sorority average. Above the all greek average is not that great. If All the houses are above that average, it's not that stellar of an accomplishment!
