KU Greek Connections helpful in Rush?

I'm considering joining a sorority at KU (not for another two years).

My dad, grandpa and great uncle were in fraternities at KU (Beta and Phi Psi).

Will that help me at all getting recruited into a sorority?

Unfortunately, I don't have any sorority legacy at KU.
