which house is better?

Yes but this is a huge decision and we are given very little time or exposure to all the houses to really make an informed one in the short time of rush week. Knowing as much as possible about a house beforehand instead of just what your friends say is a big help. Can you just give a brief summary? It would really help.

Recruitment is a situation where young women have just a week to make a lifelong membership decision. It can be really overwhelming! There is really no great way to fully prepare for it. Like others have said, go with your gut...you will know where you feel comfortable and which women you connect with most.
All chapters on all campuses are looking for women with strong academics, involvement, an interest in philanthropy/community service, leadership skills and good social skills. Our letters are different, but really, all sororities are extremely similar in values and expectations of members.

Recruitment is a joke. I got in a house last fall and I went with it even though it was not my first choice. I don't have much in common with the other girls and I know I would have fit in MUCH better in another house. Most of my friends are in the other house and I feel like I'm missing so much. They may pick you but that doesn't mean they make the right decision for YOU.

Specifically what do they each look for during recruitment? And since you seem to know a bit about this what do all the houses look for during recruitment? Can you list the houses and what each one specifically looks for?
