sorority legacy?
by: legacy
How hard is it to get into any of the sorority houses as a legacy, mainly DG, GPhi, Chio, and Tri delt, if you don't know any of the girls already in the house?
Which houses cut more often if you don't know any of them before rush?

REALLY hard to get into chi o, pretty damn hard to get into g phi, hard to get into dg, tri delt isn't an automatic in, but they're really not that hard to get into. G phi is the house most likely to cut you if you don't know anyone in the house. It's not unheard of, just not likely

All the houses have around the same number of girls so theoretically you should have equal chance in any house. The reason that's not how it actually works is, as time goes on, a house gets filled more and more to capacity with girls that have friends in the house. So eventually there is simply no more room for new girls. That is why it's hard to get in, not because they are smarter, prettier, or more involved.
If you aren't friends with girls in those houses before rush, honestly do you even want to be in a house where you will be excluded? Probably not. Pick a house that's not so cliquish and you will be way happier. The houses hard to get in are nothing more than extensions of high school, and for you to really grow and mature and prepare yourself for the real world you're better off in a house that isn't going to treat you as an outsider in your own home.

I don't agree with this at all. I have a friend in pi phi, a house which I consider on the harder side to get into, and she's from out of state. Didn't know a single person before coming here. She isn't cliquey and didn't go to high school with any girls in her house. So no, that's not true.
