Yeah I understand there have been posts that claim KD is awful, but someone is going ballistic with posting on these sorority's ranking page with literally dozens of negative reviews. Enough is enough girls, stop the bull.

Take it easy. Top sororities are just ones that there is more competition to join and more awards won after you're a member. It has nothing to do with how much you love your sisters. All houses have that. Just not all houses require pnms to have top grades, activities, recs, community involvement, put together looks, etc.

Agreed. A high GPA is the most important asset you can have as a person. This is why all sororities have study hours and GPA requirements you have to meet. It doesn't mean everything, but it means a lot for your success in the future. It will help you in the long run to have a house full of sisters who help you keep your grades up.

I actually agree with the statement that there are more important things than the highest gpa. Ask a CEO of any company and they will all tell you the highest gpa isn't what they look for and that there are way important qualities. Are you really in college or just completely brainwashed.

@above, You obviously don't have family members who are in business. My dad is the CEO of a large company and he tries to hire people with the best work ethic he can find. He says that GPA is the best indicator of someone's work ethic. Believe me, there is a huge difference in 3.0 and 4.0.

That's what people say who had bad grades. The average gpa for girls going through recruitment was 3.8, so I guess most girls in houses are "weird as F?"

A high school GPA of 3.8 is a lot different than a college GPA of 3.8. They may come in with a 3.8 but the average college GPA is a lot lower

Funny you say that cause "top" houses at KU don't win more awards, they don't have the highest grades or participate in the most activities, are not the most involved in the community and SURE AS HELL don't have the most "put together looks, etc". They are simply the most stuck up because of some stereotype they think they have. Truth is, the houses that claim to be top are just the houses that have the most highschool friends and johnson county girls. Nothing else, sorry bout it
