what happened to the theta thread?

by:

I wonder if the person who wasn't even from Kansas and who got on here to lecture us paid to have it taken down.

Why would that person want it taken down? More like theta wanted it gone. Their Facebook page is gone too. Now, all you KU students who get all the gossip: what, exactly, was Shelby's penance?

Why the all caps instead of just some information?

I have been on here to preach being positive and not being concerned about tiers but on your own sisterhood. That being said, I was saddened to hear KU being brought down by the actions of one student. Like it or not it did have a negative impact on how the sororities are viewed and not just Theta. I have been asked about it a few times and had to come to the defense of KU. It was a poor reflection of how the sororities deal people who give the sisterhood a bad rep.

All these comments are written by the same stupid person and she's trying hard to keep things stirred up in order to damage Theta. So far she's been unsuccessful. And that seems to be really annoying to her!

To my understanding, the tweet was posted and deleted before Shelby Golightly went through recruitment. Theta didn't know about the tweet until it had resurfaced. Since Shelby wasn't a member of the organization when she posted the tweet, Theta has no grounds to stand on to revoke membership.
