Are frat ranks reliable

Why do people care about frat ranks so much. Is there a difference between top and mid houses? Idk I always thought u should rush the people not the house

They are important to gauge who to rush and sign due to KU's informal rush heavy stance. I wish we were like an SEC school in that we did mainly formal and freshmen did not live in but, that is sadly not the case.
