What was the Kappa Delta scandal last year?

I just got my bid from KD and I heard there was a scandal that happened and everyone isn’t fond of KD. I feel as if im too new in the sorority to ask any of the older girls about it. So like what’s the deal? Is this gonna bite me in the end?

a year ago a video of two pc 17 girls saying some slurs went viral, they were immediately removed and the chapter takes dei stuff very seriously, even before the scandal happened. not a kd bur that’s what I heard from my roommate last year
