by: KUGREEKDuring recruitment this year, Chi O, G Phi, and Kappa all asked what my parents did for a living. Needless to say I cut them all later that day and I'm glad I did. I'd rather not live in a house who judges me based on the fact that my dad is a school principal and not a CEO.

To all girls who were cut from some house as a pnm: It's not because of what your parents do. Also, it's not a rule, it's just a suggestion. If you're awkward to make conversation with, girls who are assigned to you might try to make you open up by talking about your family, thinking that at least you would know SOMETHING to say about them. It never gets around to that unless you're bragging about how amazing your family is or you're so awkward it's the only thing you'll talk about. Bottom line -- if we're talking to you about your family, we've already decided to cut you.
