LISTEN TO YOUR HEART

I'm an old lady that rushed many many years ago. When it came down to it, here were 2 houses I liked: one was a top house, I liked it a lot, and the other was more middle but I LOVED IT.
Like an idiot I chose the top house because...well because its a top house right?!?
I was initiated. But when I went through my first rush, all the pnms I clicked with got cut. When bid day came I didn't really connect with anyone. I ended up dropping. I just felt no connection. It wasn't the house's fault, it was mine. I knew who I belonged with. I went the direction I did for the wrong reasons.
As I watch rush from afar I just want to hug each of you pnms and say FOLLOW YOUR HEART! These rankings are such BS. If you feel a connection to a house, who the hell cares what they're ranked. You shouldn't be made to feel ashamed if you find your people in a certain house.
I can't stress it enough. You will KNOW in your heart who your tribe is. And that's a beautiful thing so don't ignore it just because some random internet person tells you your choice isn't "good enough" (and yes I realize that this advice is coming from a random internet person).
