Advice to PNMs for recruitment

by:

For those who are going through recruitment next week, I wanted to give you some advice from what I have learned in my time in greek life. When going through recruitment think about what you want out of greek life, think about the kind of people you want to be around. Being a part of the "top" house does not mean anything outside of that chapter. This is not high school anymore. Look for the chapter where you are going to be happy for the next four years and find some of your best friends. Choosing a house just based on their popularity may not lead to what you want. Sororities are about finding forever friends. Find the place that is going to make you happy and make you feel comfortable.

in our panhellenic community, we dont care about rank. literally no one is a bottom house. its the frats that divide us base on what THEY think is a top house. remember that if someone on here is ranking on looks, its a guy.

yes. I love this. join a house that YOU feel comfortable in and can see yourself being friends with them, not girls who you have to pretend to be someone else to be friends with them.

The women in every single house are literally so excited to meet you! We have all been working so hard to make the process of virtual recruitment as easy as possible! We are just as nervous as you and we may struggle with Zoom but we know you might too!

Take the time to have genuine conversations and try to really see yourself in each chapter! There isn’t a single bad sorority on campus. Go in with an open mind and trust the process! 💞
